We live in a time where it’s easy to forget about the transformative power of repair and reinvention. This community event invites you to bring things that don’t work (for you, or just in general) and make them over into something better, more useful, and more exciting! We invite you to bring in that torn sweatshirt, that creepy stuffed animal, those (clean) socks with holes… You’ll use your creative powers to make these into something you’ll treasure! Anything can happen at the FLY Creativity Lab: this is not about mending, though you are welcome to do that too. It is about invention!
We’ll have sewing and art supplies on hand as well as several experts in clothing and costume design, fiber arts and more!
